Thirteen generations of wine producers since 1720: the history of this estate and the family of its owners has ancient roots. The estate is located near San Gimignano, not far from the ancient Francigena pilgrims’ route; indeed, in the beginning it served as a resting place for pilgrims on their way to Rome.

Over the centuries, more plots of land and grand buildings were added to the property and the production of Tuscan wines was developed.

For the past three centuries, therefore, the art of making wine has been handed down from father to son, combining ancient traditions with new wine-making techniques.

The extensive plots of land which today are part of the estate are all cultivated as vineyards. Over the years, the winery has specialized in the production of many types of Chianti Super Tuscan wines, as well as the typical wine of this area, the white Vernaccia di San Gimignano. There are, of course, also fine Tuscan reds: Chianti Classico and Chianti Colli Senesi. They are all premium quality labels, in line with the company's philosophy.

Harvesting is done with the traditional system passed on from generation to generation: the grapes are strictly hand-picked, selecting only the best and healthiest bunches.

All subsequent operations, from destemming to fermentation, take place in the estate's cellar. At the end of the fermentation process, the wines are aged in wooden barrels and barriques. Vinification takes place in oak casks or stainless steel tanks, depending on the wines. After this phase, whose duration varies according to the type of wine being produced, the wine is bottled to complete its aging in the bottle.

When a family of farmers fell in love with it and decided to move here in the year 2000, it was a 16th-century country ruin on the hills of San Gimignano, surrounded by land planted with olive trees and vines. They began restoring the cottage and renewing the crops according to the methods of organic farming, with the goal of resurrecting the rustic beauty of the farm and reviving its land to productivity.

Today the owner's two sons, now grown up, continue alongside their parents this work nurtured by their passion for Nature and its rhythms, but also for quality wines and oil. Over the years, the land has been converted to organic production and obtained the ICEA (Ecological and Environmental Certification Institute) certification. This was one of the first producers in the Chianti Colli Senesi area to make wines with organic certification, protecting the agricultural ecosystem and biodiversity.

The result is wines without chemical residues, produced in harmony with the slow rhythms of the land and respecting the working conditions of the company's employees. The wines of the estate include some of the most famous Tuscan wine denominations: Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, Chianti Classico, as well as a variety of Supertuscan wines.

All this is made possible by an optimal balance between tradition and innovation. Indeed, in addition to the classic aging methods, the estate's wines are produced with innovative techniques that reinvent the past, such as fermentation in concrete tanks or terracotta amphorae. The extra virgin olive oil, on the other hand, is produced exclusively with the traditional method of cold pressing to preserve the best organoleptic qualities.

The winery was created in 1997 through the passion of its founder and owner, a Tuscan enologist and agronomist.

The estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, not far from the town of Castellina in Chianti, in one of Tuscany’s most quintessential locations.

In this territory naturally suited to wine production, the estate produces Tuscan labels of great quality, including top-rated reds such as Chianti Classico and whites such as Vermentino di Toscana.

From vineyard to bottle, the winemakers have successfully infused their wines with all their passion and technical know-how. Nowadays, the estate’s wines perfectly embody the local tradition and the values of a family of wine lovers. In fact, the business is entirely family-owned, with two generations actively managing the whole wine-making process.

This business philosophy is reflected in their decision to produce only a limited number of bottles of the highest standard, and their goal is to privilege quality over quantity to excel in a global market with an increasing tendency to standardize features and taste.

Today, the company owns three estates in Tuscany, where they produce six types of wine, vinsanto, grappa, and olive oil. Vinification and bottling take place exclusively in the winery.

Moreover, the winery is open to guests for guided tours to discover the cellar and its winemaking techniques. At the end of the tour, visitors are offered wine tastings in the memorable setting of the panoramic terrace, with splendid views of the Chianti Classico countryside.
